Pigmented lesions Treatment

Through Palomar patented innovations, Starlux can safely deliver optimally-filtered wavelengths of pulsed light to clear pigmented lesions with superior patient comfort – The Palomar StarLux System has been proven in clinical studies to perform as good as or better than the single-application “gold standard” lasers.

Mechanism of Action:

Specially filtered bands of light target the melanin in pigmented lesions, where the light is converted into heat. This heating selectively destroys the pigmented lesion, which is sloughed away, clearing the lesion within two weeks.

• Specific wavelengths of light can target pigmented lesions on most skin types.
